Marta Roma

Marta Roma is a wonderfully versatile cellist and singer from Barcelona (Spain), with a multifaceted background and experience in the music and the arts.

Marta completed her degree in Music Education at the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (ESMUC- Barcelona, 2011) and her diploma in Performance at world famous Berklee College of Music in Boston (2014), studying with cellists Eugene Friesen and Mike Block. She has also graduated Summa Cum Laude for her Master degree in Music Contemporary Performance at the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI, 2016), studying and performing side to side with jazz luminaries such as Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Terri Lyne Carrington, George Garzone and Marco Pignataro among others. In July 2017 she graduated as a Post-Graduate Fellow at Berklee College of Music.

Marta is now working on her first album while developing her career performing, teaching, recording and writing new music.S
