Learn to think like a banjo, mandolin, or other bluegrass instrument!
Usually, the main goal of our study is our primary instrument: we spends hours and hours practicing scales, learning melodies, and transcribing solos. But what about the role that other instruments play in your band or in a recording situation?
Do you know how a banjo works? The role a mandolin plays in an ensemble? In this workshop we will learn about banjo rolls, mandolin chops, and the parts that various instruments play in a bluegrass ensemble.
You will learn some basics for the banjo or mandolin to get you started playing with others in a bluegrass style. Ready to learn something different?
